Responsible for the file

Questionity S.L. is responsible for the electronic file that contains personal information provided by the user in order to use Questionity social network.

Such file has been notified as required by the data protection regulation in the Registro de la Agencia Española de Protección de datos (Register of the Spanish Agency for Data Protection).

Information collected from registered users

When you register for the first time in Questionity, it is required that you facilitate several data mandatory through a disclaimer that you must accept to sign up. These are:

  • Username
  • Email

If you're an individual or a personality, we  will also collect:

  • Date of birth
  • Gender

If you are a company, organization, brand or media, we will also collect:

  • Sector/class

Once you have signed up in Questionity, you can add more information about yourself when configuring your profile, although providing such information is voluntary and is not necessary to use Questionity.

You can complete your profile if you want other users to know more about you, if so, this is the information that we will collect:

Users and personalities:

  • Avatar.
  • Full name.
  • Short Description.
  • User’s Full description.
  • Profile Photo.
  • Location (country and town/region).
  • User language.
  • Time zone.
  • Links to user’s webpages.

Companies, media, brands and organizations:

  • Date of registration.

Invitations to your friends

Once you become a registered user in Questionity you will be able to send invitations to your friends so they can also register with Questionity.

For this purpose, you will provide your friend’s email through the invitation system provided by Questionity. In any case, your friend will have to decide whether or not to register with Questionity, accepting the invitation and finishing the registration process.

Questionity will not store the email of your friend to whom you send the invitation, hence you will be responsible for whether your friend wants to receive such invitation or not, so you need to make a responsible use of Questionity invitation process.

User Profile Settings

The authenticity of the information provided is under your sole responsibility. Questionity is not responsible for any false or inaccurate statements made by you nor the damage they can cause to third parties.

However, when a user name is pejorative, violates the dignity of others or generally fails to meet the terms of use of Questionity, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel the account, agreed under such terms.

Privacy Features

Registered users can access all pages of your Microsite, except reported Q!grams page and favorite Q!grams page. Users may only access the microblog page and the profile information page.

The current version of Questionity has the following functions of privacy settings:

Use of the gathered information

Images and Videos

The images and/or links that you upload to Questionity are stored in our servers. The use of this content is subject to the terms of use of Questionity.

If you do not want us to store metadata associated with images, remove that information before uploading the content that hosts them to Questionity.

Statistics

We can extract statistics from the activity carried out by each user; it is even likely that we would share these statistics with associated companies. However, that information will be provided separately, that is, those third parties would not have access to your personal information, in any case.

Consent of registered user for information treatment in Questionity

The fact of signing up in Questionity implies that you consent to and agree to the processing of your personal information, according to the use permitted in Questionity, as stated in this privacy policy and terms of use.

The user registration in Questionity implies that you may receive, via e-mail associated to the user account, updates of Questionity news, new services and commercial offers, as well as alerts related to the service.

This does not prejudice your option to revoke  consent of receiving certain communications and alerts, by configuring this feature in the settings menu of Questionity.

You may receive the following types of communications from Questionity:

  • A user has accepted your invitation to join Questionity.
  • You have been reported.

You can also configure your account to receive notifications about the following issues:

  • You are followed by a new user.
  • One of your Q!qrams has been commented.
  • Occasional updates of new features, versions and surveys of Questionity.

Purpose of data collection

The aim of the treatment of your personal information is to manage Questionity according to the use defined in the terms of use and present privacy policy.

Publication of user information

Questionity is not responsible for the consequences and effects that advertising of such data, including personal information that the user freely decides to present, may occasion to the user, his/her family, friends and / or relatives, or to other third persons. Participation in Questionity is completely voluntary and not mandatory. Disclosure of the information provided is not subject to any guarantee of confidentiality or the right to privacy, given that the user decides on a voluntary basis to make it public and to share it on social networks. Consequently, the user is solely responsible for all events, situations, incidents, problems, and so on, as a representative but not exhaustive list, that may occur following the publication of the data supplied by the user.

Minors

Registration in Questionity is not permitted to individuals under 14 years of age.

It is the responsibility of parents or legal guardians to ensure their charges would not access content unsuitable for minors and to monitor the online activity of these minors.

The access to Questionity by charges under the age of fourteen years is also the responsibility of parents or legal guardians when such access is expressly prohibited by Questionity in this policy.

No disclosure of personal information

Questionity guarantees that it will not communicate to third parties personal information of Questionity users, under any circumstance, except those legally required.

Cancellation of your account in Questionity

In the “Account cancellation” section of the terms of use, you will find detailed information about the procedure for cancelling your account.

Technical security measures applicable to data

Questionity ensures it performs the appropriate security measures, both technical and organizational, as required by the regulations on protection of personal information, and with the appropriate levels of security according to the type of information that is managed in the social network.

Note that navigation through Questionity may involve the use of cookies. Cookies are small amounts of information that are stored in your browser, so that the server remembers easily certain information about user’s navigation. In that way, your navigation preferences can be stored.

Questionity, with the sole intention of providing its services has contracted with MailChimp, which complies with the principles of Safe Harbor, framework for action between the U.S. Department of Commerce and the European Commission regarding the protection of personal data.

Exercise of legal rights

Validity of the privacy policy and amendments thereto

QUESTIONITY, SL, based in Madrid, zip code 28036, Calle Rafael Salgado , 7, 5, Izq.. bearing the CIF no. B-86196193, and legally registered in the Registry of Madrid (hereinafter QUESTIONITY), pursuant to the provisions of Law 15/1999 of December 13, Protection of Personal Data (LOPD) informs you that the information you provide on the forms "GET AND INVITATION" and "REGISTERED USERS" at www.questionity.com web site are included in a personal data file that has been duly registered in the General Register of Data Protection. The data collected here will be treated by QUESTIONITY, with the sole purpose of handling your registration as user of the website, based on the option selected by you.

The registration of children under the age of 14 is not allowed. If any record discloses that the user is a minor, QUESTIONITY reserves the right to cancel it. QUESTIONITY is not responsible for the effects or consequences that records of minors may cause. At any time, parents / guardians of a child that has completed the forms without authorization, may revise, cancel or oppose the processing of personal data by means of a message to the following email address  lopd@questionity.com, indicating the reference "LOPD”.

By sending personal data via the respective form, the user consents that QUESTIONITY can dispose of his/her personal data for the purposes outlined above. The user must provide true and timely data. QUESTIONITY is not responsible for the consequences and damages that may result from false or erroneous information.

Meanwhile, QUESTIONITY agrees that personal data provided by users will be treated in strict confidence and, in compliance with all security measures established by law in order to prevent unauthorized access and treatment.

Similarly, QUESTIONITY, pursuant to Article 5 of the Data Protection Act (LOPD), informs that the fact of giving personal details by sending of forms is optional and that you can exercise your right of access, rectification, cancellation and / or opposition regarding the data provided at any time. In this case, the applicant will have to direct his/her complaint to QUESTIONITY by e-mail to lopd@questionity.com, indicating in the message the reference "LOPD" and detailing the data to be changed or cancelled.
